Lest We Forget

Posted by Kerrin Brookes on

Remembrance Day holds a personal meaning for me and my family, as it does for many Canadians. My father served in World War II, but rarely spoke of it after he came home. Like so many men who returned home, he was forever altered by his time in the service, but his courage and patriotism will never be diminished or forgotten.

On this quiet Sunday, we honor our veterans with heartfelt, inexpressible gratitude for the sacrifices they made, and respectful silence on their behalf.

Thank you.

Kerrin
